Dear Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. It is with immense honor and humility that I write to you today as the incoming President of the Maryland Government Relations Association. This esteemed organization holds a special place in my heart, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as your President.
First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for entrusting me with this important role. I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to working collaboratively with all of you to further our mission.
At this moment, I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional leadership provided by our outgoing President, Brian Frazee. Brian has been an inspiring and dedicated leader, guiding MGRA with wisdom and grace. Brian’s unwavering commitment to our association has been instrumental in our continued success. I am deeply appreciative of the foundation he and others before him have laid, and I am committed to building upon it to lead MGRA into an even brighter future.
The challenges and opportunities facing government relations professionals today are ever evolving. Together, we have the ability to address these challenges head-on, advocate for our collective interests, and contribute positively to the political landscape in Maryland.
In the coming weeks and months, members of the Board and I will be reaching out to many of you to gather your insights, ideas, and aspirations for MGRA. Your input is invaluable as we chart the course ahead, and I am eager to hear from each of you.
Once again, thank you for placing your trust in me. I am excited about the journey ahead and am confident that, together, we will continue to elevate MGRA to new heights.
Please feel free to reach out to me at Eddie@pwrjmaryland.com with any thoughts, suggestions, or simply to connect. I look forward to working closely with all of you and am excited about what we can achieve together.
Warm regards,
Eddie L. Pounds, Esq.
